The Work Integrated Learning Scholarship (WILS) is a whole-of-government program that enables students at Charles Darwin University to apply for a scholarship. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in full-time study for a Bachelor of Business or Commerce (majoring in Economics or Accounting), or a Bachelor of Accounting. Key benefits include a generous stipend of $2500 each semester (subject to satisfactory performance), and paid Treasury placements for up to 12 weeks per year.
If you are currently undertaking full-time degree studies for the first time, you might also qualify for the Vacation Employment Program, which provides an opportunity for students to gain valuable workplace experience through short-term paid employment within Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS) agencies. Employment opportunities are normally restricted to the major university vacation periods and give you the opportunity to gain a range of skills in positions that range from administration to fieldwork.
Other scholarships include:
- Chief Minister’s Study Scholarship for Women
- Northern Territory Library Scholarship
- Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics Co-op Scholarship in Engineering
- Minister for Primary Industry and Resources Earth Science / Mining / Petroleum Scholarship.
